WHERE PRESSURE MEETS PRIVILEGE.

Microsoft Word

Create and format professional documents.

1Getting Started

Microsoft Word is a word processor used to create letters, essays, and reports. Documents are saved in the .docx format. The Ribbon at the top holds all the tools, grouped into tabs like Home, Insert, and Layout.

2Formatting Text

Use the Home tab to change the font, size, and color. Make text Bold (Ctrl+B), Italic (Ctrl+I), or Underlined (Ctrl+U). Alignment buttons let you place text left, center, right, or justified.

3Paragraphs & Styles

Adjust line spacing and add bullet or numbered lists for clear structure. Use built-in Styles (like Heading 1 and Heading 2) to keep formatting consistent and to build an automatic table of contents.

4Inserting Objects

The Insert tab lets you add pictures, tables, shapes, and page numbers. Headers and footers repeat information (like your name or page number) on every page.

5Review & Finish

Use Spelling & Grammar check to catch mistakes, and Track Changes when editing with others. Finally, print your document or export it as a PDF to share it safely.
